Over the past few years, the women cricketers have shattered several records and set new standards by proving that they are no less than their men counterparts. Especially, scoring centuries across all three formats of women’s cricket, namely in Tests, ODIs, and T20Is, is one such remarkable feat that few of them were able to accomplish.
Recently, India’s stand-in captain Smriti Mandhana, with her maiden T20I century against England, became the latest entrant to the list. Her valuable contributions guided India to triumph over the hosts by 97 runs while defending a 211-run target.
Let’s take a look at those five women batters who achieved this extraordinary record by smashing a ton in three different formats.
1. Smriti Mandhana (INDIA): 12 International Centuries
On Saturday (June 28), Smriti Mandhana recorded the highest individual score by any Indian women’s batter in T20 internationals.
The left-handed batter’s 112-run knock out of 62 balls (including 15 fours and 3 sixes) powered her team’s total to 210/5 in 20 overs. Moreover, the entire England team failed to chase the target and surrendered, compiling 113 runs in 14.5 overs. In other words, the entire batting line-up of the English women scored 1 run extra compared to Smriti’s tally of 112 runs.
Also, it is to be noted that Mandhana is the first Indian batter and the fifth overall to score hundreds in all three formats. Currently, the 28-year-old has amassed 14 centuries in her international cricket career, and here is a detailed list:
| Format | Matches | Innings | Runs | Centuries | Average | Highest Score |
| Tests | 7 | 12 | 629 | 2 | 57.18 | 149 |
| ODIs | 102 | 102 | 4,473 | 11 | 46.59 | 136 |

England’s former skipper Heather Knight holds five international centuries across all three formats of international cricket. The right-handed batter achieved this feat during the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020, where she hammered her maiden T20I century by scoring an unbeaten 108 runs off 66 balls (including 13 fours and 4 sixes) against Thailand in the group stages.

Tammy Beaumont is another cricketer from the England women’s team who scored centuries across three different formats.
The 34-year-old is still active in her cricket career and has scored 14 centuries so far, out of which 12 of them were amassed in ODIs.
Before June 2023, Beaumont scored only in T20Is and ODIs. However, she scored her maiden double ton against Australia at Nottingham. Her 208-run knock out of 331 balls (including 27 fours) helped the English right-handed batter accomplish a century in the longest format as well. Still, her contribution ended in a losing cause as her team suffered an 89-run defeat to Australia.
| Format | Matches | Innings | Runs | Centuries | Average | Highest Score |
| Tests | 11 | 18 | 612 | 1 | 34.00 | 208 |
| ODIs | 129 | 119 | 4487 | 12 | 41.93 | *168 |

Till December 2023, Wolvaardt scored centuries only in ODIs. However, she was in her peak form in the previous year, where she went on to score centuries in the other two remaining formats:
