The confusion began in the Pakistan cricket team for the past few days. After the World Cup 2023, the team’s coach and director were sacked. Moreover, the PCB combined the role of Team Director and Head coach for the first time by appointing Mohammad Hafeez in place of Mickey Arthur.  Especially, Salman Butt’s termination within 24 hours of his appointment as a consultant role in the selection panel, indicates the PCB’s lack of decision-making skills.
