Tristan Stubbs Full IPL Salary Breakdown (2022 – 2025)
IPL 2022 (Debut season) – ₹20 lakh
Stubbs went into contract with the Mumbai Indians (MI) as a debutant in India’s premier cricket competition in 2022. He joined with the IPL’s starting salary cap for that season (₹20 lakh) and failed to make an impression on the pitch for MI. He featured in few overs across 2 matches and only scored two runs for the Mumbai-based franchise.
IPL 2023 – ₹20 lakh
MI retained Stubbs for IPL 2023 and maintained his ₹20 lakh salary. His struggles with MI continued in his second IPL season, as he could only score 25 runs in 2 games. Stubbs and MI had to find a solution to his challenging start to life in IPL cricket, and they decided he should try something else the next season.
IPL 2024 – ₹50 lakh
MI didn’t retain Stubbs for IPL 2024, and the cricketer was free to make a switch to the DC franchise. At DC, Stubbs fetched a ₹50 lakh base price at auction to feature for his new IPL team.
IPL 2025 – ₹10 crore
Stubbs came out of the blocks firing on all cylinders for DC at IPL 2024. The franchise has chosen to repay his exciting batting performance last season (378 runs) with a huge salary increase. Stubbs will take home ₹10 crore for his services at DC next season, giving him one of the competition’s biggest season-to-season pay rise so far.
