Paras Dogra Becomes Second Batter to Surpass 10,000 Ranji Trophy Runs

Veteran Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) captain Paras Dogra has made history in India’s domestic cricket scene. He is now the second cricketer in history to register over 10,000 career runs at the Ranji Trophy. Dogra achieved this feat during the 2025/26 Ranji Trophy semi-final. The star cricketer swung into action early in his innings to ensure he joins an elite rank of Indian batters at domestic level.

Dogra’s Ranji Trophy career has been nothing short of an iconic journey. The skilled veteran continued his fine multi-day form in domestic cricket while achieving several impressive records along the way.

Veteran Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer has the best career runs record amongst all players in the competition’s history. Jaffer’s 12,038 runs record seems unassailable judging by current standings. He has over 2,000 more runs than Dogra in the format, a tally some batters cannot boast of in their entire Ranji Trophy careers.

Paras Dogra Last 10 Matches

Paras has been in fine form of late and recently bagged a 33 and 17 runs performance to boost his profile. The cricket star last experienced a barren outing in late December 2025 when Vidarbha shut him out during a List A meeting.

Dogra has been on the score sheet in 6 games since that null spell and has a half-century against Himachal Pradesh to show for his on-field efforts.
