Emotional Post from Sindhu Attracts Attention to Inspirational Kohli Message
Sindhu wrote on X to share details about how she reached out to Kohli during a troubling phase in her career:
“One thing I’ll always be grateful for, though, is Virat bhai. I reached out to him at one of the lowest points of my career,” Sindhu shared through her social media. “Injuries were piling up, the results weren’t coming, and I just needed someone who understood. He replied within minutes, and we met the very next day,” the badminton star added.
Sindhu Refuses to Reveal Specifics of Her Conversation with Kohli
The badminton player kept major details of her talk with one of India’s top batting legends private, but didn’t fail to show gratitude in public:
“What we spoke about will always stay between us. But I’ll always be grateful that when I needed someone, he was there,” she wrote.
The talented badminton star also said her partner was a part of the conversation with Kohli, and could only reveal he didn’t say much throughout their talk:
“He didn’t say much, but every word stayed with Datta (Venkata Sai, husband) and me. Some conversations change the way you see things. That was one of them,” Sindhu concluded. Her comments on social media attracted fans’ attention, as many praised Kohli for his cross-sport support to another Indian athlete.
